I saw some of the same things in her story apply to my life. We must stick to God's plan for we have no clue of what we are in store for.
All I can say is be careful of the company you keep. If your married you cannot run with single men. And that's what Levi did. And it got him in big trouble.
Our God is a Jealous God, nothing should ever come before him, God always gives us signs, he will always guide is in the right path. Charity list her faith because she put her husband before God, she found love outside her marriage , Levi had his own demons he was fighting, through their battles they lost sight of God.
Never stay in a abusive relationship, leave while you can!
When you give up God for a spouse, your marriage is bound to fail. Even though Charity dated Levi 3 years before marrying, she shouldn't have married when their beliefs weren't in sync. Lack of communication further damaged the relationship and in addition, Levi's hanging with his single friends every night as if he doesn't have a wife at home. And then abuse. What a mess. But God. Good story, a bit choppy for me and definitely could benefit from editing.
I thought this was a very good book I chose this rating because it was very well written.I would recommend this book to others to read.
Charity suffered a lot at the hands of a man who couldn't love her because he didn't know how to Love himself! A quick read about putting God first and listening to His leading. A true testament of God's grace and mercy!
